1 Chronicles 16:11 ~ Look to the LORD and His strength; seek his face always.

 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 ~ If my people, who are called by name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

 James 5:13-16 ~ Is anyone of you in trouble?  He should pray.  Is anyone happy?  Let him sing songs of praise. . . The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
