September 2019

Everyone is searching. Some are searching for a Utopia here on earth. They are looking for a perfect place to live; one where life stretches beyond the limits. One where the weather is just right. One where they can live in “paradise”. Man has searched for years for that type of place but without hesitation I can assure you, that place doesn’t exist in this hemisphere. However, there is a land that is fairer
than day, a land that is beyond the imagination of our mind. It’s located in my Father’s house. It passes all of the tests. There will be no storms and no sickness there. Death will not exist for death has been defeated. The streets won’t have pot holes for they will be made of pure gold! We will join with
the angels singing God’s praise. So today if you are searching for the perfect place, the perfect life and the
most perfect spot, I recommend that you try out my Lord. Adam and Eve had it made. They were in a perfect  relationship with the almighty God, one that offered benefits like none has known since. They could have eaten from the tree of life and never had to face death. Scripture says God would come down and talk with them in the evenings and they walked together through the garden. Then one day, Eve
forgot what God had said and listened to the wrong voice. It caused sin to enter her life. Everything was lost. Her life was trodden down, and she and Adam were expelled from the garden. Life became hard as they had to work to survive. Since then, Jesus has  provided us a way home, to that perfect land located in the third Heaven, the abode of God. Jesus came back to earth to redeem each of us. While we search
for perfection, Jesus has already become that perfect place. He has already given himself as a ransom for
us all. Fulfill your search today and let Jesus place your name in the record book as one who has eternal life with God.

Rev. Richard and Rosie Deckard

Rita’s Review

As we approach this time of year, we
watch as the natural things of life begin
to change. The gardens and fields are
being harvested, the leaves are
beginning to change colors and some
are even falling already. The markets
are full of shoppers who are searching
for produce, hoping to store away food
for the coming winter. It’s amazing
how cyclical everything is, from the
seasons, to human patterns, everything
seems to be in its own little life under
the Heavens.
Don’t you wonder how people can
deny there is a God? When I look at
something as simple as an ear of corn,
and see it covered in layer after green
layer, and wonder how it was ever
birthed as an idea, I’m blown away. To
remove the thick layers and find a
beautiful ear of corn, just ripe for
eating, I have to stop and thank God
who one day summoned that kernel
from the ground.
To look at a baby, nine months
(usually) in the making and see a
magnificent being that’s greater than
any computer ever invented, humbles
me to say “How Great is Our God!”
Everything we do, everything we say,
everything we think should point to
God! If not for Him, we would be void
and without form. But with Him, all
things are possible! God is so good!
And His love goes on forever! Sing
praises to the One who loves you today!
Give glory to God in all that you do.
